TERMS:

Shipping & Handling is a FLAT $4.95 per Order for orders shipped within the United States.

Shipping & Handling is a FLAT $15.00 per Order for orders shipped to Canada.
(Up to 8 ounces in shipping weight).

Shipping & Handling is a FLAT $17.50 per Order for orders shipped outside the U. S. and Canada.
(Up to 8 ounces in shipping weight).

We are sorry, but we no longer sell or ship to Great Britain or any
country located in the European Union (EU). EU countries include...

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia,
Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia,
Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal,
Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.

The reason is due to VAT collection issues.

For all orders over 8 ounces shipped Outside The United States:

We reserve the right to charge the exact shipping costs.
Your order will be cancelled and an email will be sent to you
with instructions on how to submit the additional shipping cost.

with your intended order and the country in which the order
will be shipped to.

Massachusetts residents and orders shipped to
Massachusetts will be charged 6.25% sales tax.

For Online Order:
We offer Secure Online Ordering with payment by American Express,
Discover, MasterCard, or Visa Credit Cards.

Your order will usually be processed and shipped within two-three business days.

You will be emailed an "Order Received" notice and upon shipment,
an "Order Shipped" notice. If you use an Email Blocking Program that
requires any action on our part such as resending emails with "pass"
or "validation" codes in order to complete delivery, then you will not
receive these email notices.

It is your responsibility to configure your
blocking program to accept our email address:

A "Secure Shopping Cart" is used on this site. To order: Click on
"Add to Cart", this will place the item in your Shopping Cart and the
"Shopping Cart" page showing your purchase will appear.
You may change the quantity of an item by entering the
desired quantity and clicking "Recalculate".

To check your Shopping Cart at any time, Click on the "View Cart" Icon
which appears at the Top of each catalog page.

Cookies must be enabled to make a purchase.
Java and JavaScript should also be enabled.

PayPal Payments:
During Shopping Cart Checkout you may choose Paypal as
your payment option. You will be taken directly to the Paypal
Secure Server where you may enter your account information
and complete your order payment.

We also maintain a Business Account at PayPal. If you are a
PayPal member you may wire us your payment directly.

For Mail Order:
Payments for Mail Orders can be made with a Credit Card or by a
Bank Cashier's Check/Money Order or U.S. Post Office Money Order.
We also accept Personal Checks, however, Personal Checks will be
held 5 days for clearance before your order will be shipped.

Method of shipping is usually by USPS Priority Air Mail with Tracking.
For orders under $35.00, shipping will be via USPS First Class Mail
with Tracking.

Upon shipment of your order, you will be E-Mailed with a
USPS Parcel Tracking Number.

You may use the USPS Tracking Number at their Web site: www.usps.com,
or by Clicking Here.

International Orders Are Welcome.
Payment may be made Online using a Credit Card or if a Mail Order is sent,
payment may be made by Credit Card or in the form of a Certified Bank
Cashier's Check or Money Order payable in U.S. Dollars.
American Express International Money Orders are also accepted.
Canadian customers may purchase a Postal Money Order payable
in U.S. Dollars at their local Post Office.

Method of shipping is by USPS Air Mail.

Customs duties, tariffs, or taxes, if any,
are the responsibility of the purchaser.

CONDITIONS:

Unless otherwise noted: Surplus merchandise is
New-Old-Stock and Unused.

SURPLUS MATERIAL COMPONENTS / SMC ELECTRONICS is an
Electronic Component Distributorship and reseller of surplus electronic
merchandise ranging from home consumer to commercial and industrial
goods.

All of our items listed for sale are honestly described regarding physical
and electrical condition and all of our items are in the described working
condition.

Item specifications, drawings, and other data are supplied by the
manufacturer. We are not responsible for the accuracy of this
information or for any typographical errors which may appear
in this online catalog.

Purchaser is responsible for determining the suitability
of use of any item listed for sale.

Our items usually have no manufacturers' warranty because many of our
items are surplus or new-old-stock. Many of our items are one of a kind
and not easily obtainable elsewhere.

You must understand that we are not a general retailer.
We offer products at reasonable prices,
and at low profit margins.

We expect purchasers to understand and be certain about
what they intend to purchase. In accordance with
Federal Trade Commission Rules and Regulations:

All merchandise is in the condition as described.
Refunds are only issued for defective items.

We will only offer a refund if the ordered item is not working
AS ADVERTISED or is defective. We must be notified within
10 DAYS of customer receipt of item. Customer must return
the defective item to us. Customer is responsible for the cost
of shipping the item to us. If we determine that the cause of
the defect was caused by customer abuse, then we will refuse
to issue a refund and will ship the item back to the customer.

Returns and refunds due to customer errors in ordering will only be
made if we are notified within 10 DAYS of customer receipt of item.
Customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item to us.
Returned item must be Unused and in Resalable Condition.

The Shipping and Handling charge will not be refunded.

A 20% Restocking Fee may also be charged.

HAZARDOUS APPLICATIONS PROHIBITED:
The Company's items are not recommended or authorized for safety,
life support, surgical implant, nuclear, military or commercial aircraft
applications, or for any use or application in which the failure of a
single component could cause substantial harm to persons or property.
Customer assumes all risk and liability for use in such applications and
agrees to indemnify the Company for all damages that may be incurred
due to use of the Company's items in these prohibited applications.
